I think it is the best motion sickness medicine. I island hop in the Philippines a lot. Bonine always works for me. Unfortunately I do not know the ingredients. My daughter avoids chemicals but is prone to motion sickness. So I get her MotionEaze. Which is all natural ingredients. It works but not as good or as long as Bonine. All motion sickness medicine I know of including Bonine, must be taken prior to traveling. Except for MotionEaze which will work after getting sick. I always carry some on me. For those who get sick on the ferry boats in the Philippines. **Q: Does it last 24 hours because it says once a day protection? If I took it at 8 am, will it last until I go to bed late that evening around midnight?** A: No, unfortunately it does not. I would recommend taking it every 8-10 hrs. If not more. It did not cause any drowsiness for me. Be sure to take it at least 30-45 minutes before you start to travel or do whatever it is you're doing. If you take it too close to your departure time, it will not work.
