However they are 1/16" larger in width (diameter) **Q: What is the difference between standard, midsize and oversize grips.** A: Midsize grips are 1/16" larger in diameter than standard and oversized is 1/8" larger than standard. Grip size is usually determined by hand size, however, better players tend to have a better feel and control by using one size larger. Basically, I would recommend replacing one grip to test it out before changing the entire set. Many people use different sizes for driver/woods versus irons but I use the same for consistency. **Q: Are these authentic Winn grips** A: Have Winn name on them. Great grips. **Q: Playing 1-2 times a week do you have an estimate on how long these grips last? I’ve heard they are great grips but they don’t last long.** A: Playing 2-3 times/wk @ 10+ months/yr they are good for 2+ seasons although it probably varies with grip strength. They do seem to wear a bit faster than some others but I’m a big fan with their comfort and feel for control. These were my 2nd set. I recommend you give them a try.
