They're a lot better than painted brackets. They're 3.5 mm thick matte black anodized blasted aluminum, so they've got a little bit of a 200-grit feel. They're kinda light given how thick they are. And they're not magnetic. Because they're aluminum.The holes are M6. They don't quite fit 1/4" bolts. They make your other brackets look kinda bad. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great kit for added support *by J***Y on August 23, 2024* The media could not be loaded. I think the kit is great. To do the whole printer however you need two sets I didn't realize or think about that. I think the quality is fantastic it came with plenty of screws and t nuts. For those who complain that it's missing screws and t-nuts, if you tap the holes on the ends of the extrusions, you don't use t-nuts. I ended up with extras in the end. I haven't had any issues as of yet, with the t-nuts breaking. I didn't go crazy over tightening them. I bought the kit twice not because I thought it was great but because I didn't realize I needed more pieces however I believe the kit turned out to be great and I'm glad I purchased it. I admit there is definitely a flat side of these brackets. I put the flat side towards the frame. The front edges are slightly rounded more so so I let them face outwards. No sharp edges. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Anodized and holes in the right places *by D***E on August 25, 2024* Good quality and economical.
