The light isn’t too harsh on your eyes and it gets very bright! I’ve actually got rid of my other lamp as this one is bright enough for the whole room.

**Q: Does this connect to WiFi**
A: No.

**Q: Hi, can I have no light on the nightlight and then program it to only come on gradually as I wake? So no light during the majority of the night?**
A: Exactly, it'll start to come on the set amount of time before you set the "alarm". Though normally the slowly brightening light will wake me up before it even gets to the alarm time. Mine gets the most use when I have to get up at 6am for work sometimes and most of the time I'm awake about 10 mins before it goes off. (I set it to gradually get lighter over half an hour since that works the best for me)

**Q: Can you have the sunset dimming without accompanying audio?**
A: Hello,
I am honored to serve you, the sunrise alarm clock should not completely turn off the sound, but you can adjust the volume minimum. The volume level of the sunrise alarm clock has 1 ~ 16.1 file volume, which is almost unaffected at a distance of more than one meter.

**Q: Does this turn itself off after a while? (Lumi has the awful habit of plunging you into darkness after 90 minutes, just as you’re ready to get up.)**
A: I don't believe it switches off if you've switched it on, though I'm not sure if I've had it on longer than around 2 hours.  

If the light has come on as part of your alarm, then it does turn itself off after around 15-20mins I think as I often have to reach over and press the light button to get it back on if I've not quite got up yet :)

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great lamp, lovely natural sounds, almost does the same as Lumie

I was slightly skeptical with it being a fraction of the price but this lamp was easy to set and simulated a natural bright sunrise. (I've looked at but didn't use the other colours) I've used it each day now and the only downside against the lumielamp which I've had before before breaking the bulb by accident is that you can't set a bedtime alarm for a specific time you have to manually click on the dimmer to go through the sunset process. So if you're looking for a lamp to remind you to go to sleep it may be worth spending a bit more but an alarm on your phone and pressing the button on the clock is not a massive problem. I liked the sounds (you can choose silent) to accompany the alarm I was expecting them to be heap sounding but they're nice natural and soothing to wake up to. All in all a good product for the price tag.
