Not only do the candles look and feel realistic, with a waxy texture throughout, (without residual feeling on your fingers), but the wick is shaped identically to what a flame would be, and with the remote, there is a dimming feature for higher or lower light output. The ambience is amazing. They even flicker just as a real candle would, and the soft, amber light is more natural than any bright white LED candles. While they give a perfect warm glow, they would be ideal on the brightest setting for a power outage, and no worry if you accidentally leave the house with them on! Easily accessible on/off switch and battery compartment on the bottom of each candle requires no tools to replace batteries. HIGHLY recommend!!!!

A: We could control the candles with the remote within 30 feet, but please make sure there is no shelter between the candles and remote.
