It was fairly easy to set up, but the joints were stiff initially. Once they do start moving, they go very quickly. I learned the hard way when my pinky got in the way, and a slice of my fingerprint got taken as the joint popped open. It definitely demonstrated pretty well that your computer won't wing around willy-nilly, so no worries there.
