Deep mud can house all sorts of bacteria, and in turn, my mare got scratches and thrush on her legs and hooves, (especially her hind legs). We tried Bannix, cream from a vet, hosing off mud regularly, and neosporin, but could not get any of her legs to get better. I had heard about Hay where's that blue stuff before but my trainer and barn owner recommended it to me too, so I decided to buy it. It's a shame I did not take before and after pics. Even after just a couple uses, I could tell her legs looked better and weren't holding heat on her boo boos anymore. Finally, something that is working!
