Clean up isn't bad, has an oil spout at the bottom as you can see in the pic. Spout sits behind the temperature control which slides right off when lifted upwards.Only downside is the magnetically attached electrical outlet also shown in the pic. I understand this is for 100% safety reasons. If the fryer plug in (magnet) is on to much of an angle to the outlet it can easily disconnect.
