Rust is not a problem in New Mexico in any event, but no reason it won’t season up like an iron skillet. It’s easy to use as the griddle and support (alley the hub) is made for my model of stove. The size is large, even for the Ranger Solostove. This could be an advantage or disadvantage depending on how much you have to cook and how much storage or packing space you have. The handles may be larger than necessary adding to the physical size and weight. Conversely they don’t get as hot.
