I was hesitant to order it, thinking that a "quilt" might be a bit too hot for the summer months, but this quilt is just perfect. It's lightweight, just the right thing for the air conditioned room on a warm summer night. It's been on my bed for about 2 months now and not once have we found it to be too heavy or hot. The pattern is very pretty; the quilt washes and dries easily.
