I opened the product after the return window was closed (since I was traveling) and the product did not work. desertcart did not accept my replacement request, despite selling a defective product. This despite being a long time desertcart customer. desertcart makes lofty claims about making the process convenient and efficient, but the same flexibility is missing when it comes to supporting the customer.

The fan doesn't work the first time product is opened. Amazon sells a defective product, and is not willing to take a ownership. Is it too much to expect that the product should at least be functional on first usage? I opened the product after the return window was closed (since I was traveling) and the product did not work. Amazon did not accept my replacement request, despite selling a defective product. This despite being a long time amazon customer.
