Review: A great rabbit comb - I was a bit hesitant to spend this much on a rabbit comb, but I kept reading the reviews and decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did. The great thing about it is that all the bunnies like it and don't try to get away. Oh how they hated the Furminator, no matter how gentle I was with it. Must feel bad in way it grooms, the fur itself, because I didn't touch their skin. But not this comb! They sit there and let me comb them for a while, especially my fuzzy lop who sheds so much fur. He would seriously hop away if he saw me coming with the the other combs and brushes. He likes this one, and even lets me comb his belly and nether regions. Since he's fuzzy, it all can get nasty. But now he's all nice and smooth, no nastiness or mats. He actually makes his sweet little happy noises while I use this comb. This comb also does a great job of getting the fur. That purple band makes a difference I guess, because it works better than combs without it. It gets a lot of fur rather quickly. It's easy to pull the fur out of it even while grooming the rabbit and to clean the teeth of the comb. The handle is big enough and it comfortable to hold with grooves for the fingers and thumb. Plus it is solidly made. I'm happy with this purple comb and so are the bunnies.

**Q: Would a flea comb work to**
A: Honestly a dog flea comb works better than this on our rabbit- the tines are a bit closer together and you can just take a thin rubber band and weave it through the tines to get the same effect. The tines on this comb are a bit too wide to pick up much of the fine hair on our bunny

**Q: Should you brush your rabbit everyday with this? Or would it start pulling out hair or something?**
A: My rabbit is a angora mix, has thick dense fur and seems to always be shedding so I brush her almost everyday. The comb picks up the loose fur, I have noticed any “pulling out” of hair. I use it on my cat too, she likes it and it only gets the loose hair.

I have a cat who is half British short hair half-Scottish fold, and I haven't been able to find a brush that works on his fur. I looked online and saw a groomer using a comb on a British short hair. She called it a "molting comb." After searching on amazon, I came across this comb for rabbit fur. That reminded me that when we used to have rabbits, when they were shedding, they'd have a little tufts of fur sticking out, and that's exactly what was happening with my cat. So I decided to take a chance on this comb. And I'm so glad I did! It works amazing. I've removed several big clumps of fur so far.
