This product was made by a shoe repairman after noticing that many shoes were in need of repair or replacement due to holes especially near the heel. These simple to insert patches prevent or repair your shoes so that you can keep wearing your shoes longer and by doing so be able to reduce that waste that is produced. These hole prevention patches includes easy to understand application instructions and take just a few minutes to apply. After Application, it is recommended that you use a shoe horn or take care for the first few days to give the adhesive a chance to be at full strength. Once they have had a chance to set, the patches will stay firmly in place and ensure the comfort and longevity of your shoes for a long and lasting chance to rejuvenate your shoes. It will be like having new shoes again.

As for other people stating that it chewed through their sock... either they were wearing super thin socks or they were cheaper than cheap. I use Kodiak socks, and there is no damage. The product is more like a denim patch which is great.. if you blow out the internal heel... you probably need something stronger like this. I'll be using this in all of my boots when I buy them now. Super easy install as well. Just cut the bottom to fit and your golden.

I work in the manufacturing industry. My workboots get a lot of wear and tear. The heels ripped on my timberland pros, and using this product saved them from hurting my heels.
