Slight herbal & calming smell from the lavender and other essential oils included in the shampoo! On the thicker side in terms of texture, and not much bubbles are created-- but that's what you need to really get the dandruffs off your hair! Moisture level is on average side, and because this is targeted for anti-dandruff & making sure that your scalp doesn't stay greasy + get buildup, I think it is fair :)) Hair feels pretty soft compared to other anti-dandruff shampoos I have used before, mainly Head & shoulders. You might want to be careful if you have damaged hair though, because it might be a bit too stripping of oil if you have bad hair health from heat damage & or dye damage.
