The assembly process, however... I would say plan on making it a two-person project, although I'm sure most of you were going to anyway. I will say it is possible to assemble on your own, with the help of a well-placed desk and chair and a lot of lesbian audacity, but it sucks. The stand is pretty stable despite being on carpet and not held down by anything other than its own weight, and can take a decent amount of swinging before it starts unhappy squeaking. Gentle rocking is totally fine, and feels quite secure.
