They come with a double sided tape which are very easy to stick on and I have had my butterflies on my wall for one week and none have fallen. My brother-in-law decided to use the pins for sewing to put on the wall. Really gave the 3D effect. Or you could glue them on vases. It is a plastic type texture. **Q: I bought the butterfly’s for my granddaughter but it didn’t come with glue tape . How can I get some for mine?** A: Get the kind that is like wall putty adhesive. The sticky tape doesn’t hold them. The wings are very too heavy and they fall off the wall. Everyone loved them! I was then asked to put together an informal reception for a second marriage. Well, they wanted to just keep it simple, but that doesn't mean plain! I again used these to perch on tissue paper flowers. They were so tickled with them and thanked me for the touch, which really made quite difference (as it always does). I saved all the butterflies and flowers for our local YMCA to use for an event in the future. They loved the look and simplicity. They are also very cautious with their funds, so they were happy to get these. BTW... these butterflies adhered, but don't hold up over time.
