Sticky rice is a type of rice, which is cultivated mostly in Asian countries. Sticky rice is also known as “Glutinos Rice” because of its consistency when cooked. It is a satisfying dish that can be eaten for breakfast, lunch and even dinner. Sticky rice is actually the name of a type of rice and not of a particular dish. Its composition is unique in that the rice becomes sticky when it is cooked. The name might be misleading. In fact, many think that sticky rice contains a large amount of gluten. This is not necessarily true. White sticky rice has little to no gluten, but the whole grain variety tends to have trace amounts of it. Sticky rice is use to make sweet treats and snacks. Sticky rice is sometimes ground into a fine powder, which is then used to make a sort of cereal. It is sweetened with sugar or honey, and mixed with milk for breakfast. Other countries prefer to serve it as a side dish or make Spanish rice.

I have tried sushi rice from different brands and I keep trying all of the exotic stuff in the market, I window shop them all. However, they provide one of the best quality products in the market! They have a wide variety of exotic and imported grains, from sushi rice to sticky rice, from semolina couscous to black, red, and white quinoa- they have it all! They’re products are directly imported from foreign countries like Italy, Japan, California, etc. What I liked the most about FUTURE FOODS is their packaging style, all of the products are packed in different coloured boxes which suit the respective product neatly and aesthetically. Also, each product has making instructions printed on the back of the box which really helps, else one surfs through the internet like internet owl, searching for the right recipe with the right measures. I have tried and loved their star product – sushi rice. Definitely going to try the rest of the products too!
