Review: Best I found. - I have used Ultra vice twice now to remount a scope on a CZ 512 using the Tipton scope mounting kit (another Tipton product I am glad I bought) The scope mounting process is SO much easier using this vice. I used the four corner adjustments to level the vice and it has not slid around at all while performing jobs like lapping scope rings and torqueing screws. It is a bit heavy which I count as a good thing as that contributes to stability. I read another review that complained of the elevation function not holding up well. I did have one slip down on the barrel end. In my case I retightened and no further problems. The 512 is not very heavy. I could see it happening on heavy weapons though. I may drill and pin the slide at the common positions if that becomes an issue for me. A small hole(s) and a nail(s) should secure it without weakening the device. The frame is metal and the rest is some sort of plastic/resin looking type of material. It was rigid and strong and it held my rifle easily in position for the work I performed. The pads don't look like they would damage a weapon, The adjustable or removable trays are very handy for holding screws, turret caps, tools, locktite and so on, and contribute to the rigidity of the frame. They also serve to help keep things separated and organized so they can be installed in their original places. I looked at several gun vices and thought I saw weak points or features I didn't care for. No product is perfect, but I can tell you I have no remorse on this purchase.

**Q: Could you use this to build an AR-15, instead of using a benchtop vise set-up?**
A: Absolutely. You can see that it has a center post that goes into the mag port of you AR. This gun vise is rock solid and can be used for many types of guns and situations. Highly recommend.

**Q: Is there an ar10 mag well that can be purchased or an adapter that can be installed onto the ar15 magwell holder so one can work on the ar10 inventory**
A: Grab the Wheeler “Delta Series Mag Well Vise Block” for the AR10 and swap it out with the AR15 block that comes on the vise.

**Q: Guessing you can't use for torqueing down a muzzle device?**
A: No that is not recommended.

**Q: Would this vise also work at the range for sighting a rifle in?**
A: You could absolutely use it with a bore laser to sight in both rifle and handgun, I do it all the time but do not actual discharge/shoot while in the vise as it is dangerous and the recoil will move and not help you in sighting in anyway.

Very high quality. I highly recommend purchasing this exact gun vice. All the other gun vices are flimsy compared to this one. This one has a powder coated steel frame! This gun vice literally locks your weapon in place to effortlessly clean or work on it.
