When fantagraphics have published other volumes it has been on matte paper - their bear mountain tales uses this matte paper For some unknown reason they have gone with a glossy finish paper that doesn't support the colouring of the tales. It unfortunately marrs what is not a cheap purchase as it feels like the decisions were made as they wanted to save some money and not present the stories in the best possible light.
