The clips broke free from the plastic holders, and I had to fuss with them each time. I needed this in a pinch and ordered it next day shipping. It did arrive on time. I bought this to take to an education class in California, and I just needed it to work for 3 days. I had issues with it the entire time.While it was set up and dealt with the broken parts, and I was working on it, it remained steady enough. It was light weight for travel. But don't expect it to last long.I actually threw it away in the airport on my way home. This Tripod stand was not intended for use as a beauty student or to be used for traveling. I purchased two months ago knowing that I was going to be using this in the summer to create/style wigs. Upon receiving, I unpacked and set up the stand in the corner of my room along with the Mannequin head that I purchased. Just two days ago, I started to actually use the stand, adjusting it, moving it etc. After only a couple of uses, one of the brace brackets broke, then from collapse due to the broken bracket, one of the legs bent.
