A: Since I'm not sure what size you are now, it's hard to say but I'll say these run pretty true to size.  I ordered one for my 10 year old son, mens x-small and it fit him nicely.  He's tall and decent build for a 10 year old.  Hope this helps and good luck loosing the 20 lbs.

**Q: Will a medium fit a 5’4 150lb man?**
A: It fits a 5’6”, 200 pound woman, so probably. :)

**Q: Is the lapis color more purple or more blue?**
A: Good question, it kind of depends on the kind of light (e.g. sunshine, flourecent, etc), but I'd say it tends towards a royal blue

Nice and fluffy inside, good thick quality, colour as seen, I ordered it for a teen who is a size 8/10 and it is more like a size 12 I would say. The small would have been big enough. However that said she likes it. I think the size guide could have been a little more helpful. The product itself is good value.
