Set of two elegant hand painted Champagne Glasses with white Magnolias on a clear fluted glass. Perfect for the Bride and Groom toast. Names and date can be added to the base of each glass making them a great keepsake gift! I use water based enamel paint then baked for durability. The glasses measure 9 1/4" tall with a 8 oz. capacity. President Andrew Jackson transplanted the Magnolia from his home in Nashville, Tennessee, in memory of his beloved wife Rachel. The name honors a French botanist, Pierre Magnol, discovered the tree in Louisiana and took seedlings back with him to France some 300 years ago. Today Magnolias have become iconic landscape trees in the South.
