The 85 and 120 L sizes have no dividers in either side. The 110L has one side that is divided into two compartments. I think there is less shifting of contents with the divider, but it depends on what you are trying to transport. Good things about these bags are : zipper quality is great. There are handles in about four different places, so fairly easy to pick up and toss onto a bend or into the trunk of a car. Over about 5 years, the handles started to pull away from the bag. There are also straps around the sides. The wheels are partially recessed into the frame, so unlikely to break. We just bought our fourth Dakine bag (varying sizes).
