Review: Love it! - I don’t leave many reviews but I just purchased this and after one time using it, I’m sold. I live in an apartment on the coast of North Carolina and my car sits in a parking lot, exposed to the elements and this time if year, baking in the hot sun all day. The car is six years old now, and I noticed some of the rubber seals around the windows were cracking. My car is in really good shape for its age and otherwise it looks like new. My concern was that certain parts on the car would continue to degrade over time, inside as well as out. I also have a neighbor who insists on feeding the seagulls so I have a constant problem with seagull waste being “deposited” on my car finish and windshield. I wash my car regularly, but it’s frustrating when I wash it and that night or the next day it’s full of crap again (just like this neighbor-lol). I put the cover on my car for the first time after I washed it the other day and when I got in it to leave two days later, I was literally shocked and pleasantly surprised at how cool it was inside the car! I couldn’t believe it. Usually it’s like an oven and it takes my AC forever to blow cool air to cool it down but the AC pushed out cold air immediately! The reflective surface is doing its job and I really was doubtful about that. But it works just like it’s supposed to and better than I expected. I’m a 73-year-old female and I had no problem putting it on or taking it off of the car in a couple of minutes. I sort of rolled it off and left it that way then put it in the trunk since I wasn’t going shopping that day, but it’d be no problem to put in the backseat or even in the house if I needed to. It’s bulky but not heavy. Now I have the peace of mind that the plastic, rubber and leather/cloth will not crack, fade or degrade from baking in a constant “oven.” And the bird doo won’t damage the paint in my car. Oh, and it fits my 2020 Honda Civic perfectly, too. I cannot speak for the durability factor yet but in my book if I get six months of use out of it for less than 60 bucks, it will be well worth my investment.
