It feels soft underfoot, but is definitely thin and needs a rug pad. I’d say the primary colors are teal, purple-ish burgundy, and gold-ish taupe. The “faded” spots are a bit more white than I would have liked, but overall the rug is beautiful and can totally pass for a vintage rug to the untrained eye. I can’t speak to longevity as we just got it, but it laid flat almost immediately!
