The original shape was why I bought them in the first place, and the extensive adhesive made them feel secure. Now they are just one of many, nothing special. They are not extra long like overnight pads. **Q: Where are they made** A: At time of writing this (04/2022) the box states, "MADE IN CHINA", distributed by Cora, San Francisco CA. **Q: If they have no phtalates, what is the plastic layer made of?** A: Phthalates are plasticizers not plastics. They are just an additive to some plastics. The box says the pads are free of polyester, rayon, and latex. That leaves a few possibilities, but they don't specify what they are using.
