My 5'2" daughter put it to work right away and says she really likes it. I've used it a few times and wish the handle was longer and I'm only 5'7". The weight is good and both edges have beneficial qualities. I may still buy something a bit wider later. The narrow blade came very sharp and only needed a touch up. The wider though, took about a half an hour of file work to get it working sharp.
