This is a push on connection for 1/2 inch irrigation tubing for sprinkler system. Has nothing to do with bleach that I am aware of

Yes, I Believe so I had to push them very hard into my tubing. You should be good

Q: What is the highest operating temperature for the material this is made of?

Not sure what your planned use is, but mine sit out all summer and I can get temp in 90's some days. It is plastic, it will not melt at that temp
