I Again asked for clarification since both the module and the HS720g were FAA approved. I again got the identical bot answer: buy the module. The FAA required that any drone manufactured after mid-late 2022 had to be equipped with remote id. It would go out of range and be gone forever. My older son has been nervous to try drones after those experiences but decide to give this one a shot. My son did what he always does with new drones, fly it way out of range until it disconnected. We started to track it from the last video images, when it suddenly came back online. It had activated a feature called "Return to Home" which made the drone return to it's take off point from a very high altitude. Amazing! No more lost drone! I am not a highly experienced operator, but this is a huge step up for us. It is amazing to see the difference between a less pricey option and this model. The features are significantly more advanced and the range is much longer. The stability of the device is also much better, even with a lot of wind it adjusted itself to stay in a one place.
