Review: Sturdy burger press - The press is fantastic, very sturdy and thick steel, and does its job perfectly. I used parchment paper over the meat when I pressed it, so I can’t speak to whether it is nonstick, but the surface is very smooth and easy to clean. Mine arrived with some minor scratches but nothing that would prevent my giving 5 stars, especially for the price. The burgers turned out with a perfect crust, and were better than any restaurant burger I have had. The size may be slightly small for some, this created a burger bigger than a slider, but not quite a full sized patty once it cooked down. This is not a fault at all, just sharing for information - it was perfect for the rolls we used. I think this is a great value, and would heartily recommend.

**Q: Does the handle get hot?**
A: That was my concern too, but I use it on a griddle to press the patties down and leave it for a couple minutes and have never had an issue with the handle being hot. I wouldn’t leave it for more than 2-3 minutes to avoid the handle heating up, but if used on a grill I imagine it would get hot.
