I've noticed that occasionally the unit would shut down for no good reason , and last night it started to shut down if I put any kind of load on it. Fwiw, I used it to power an intel pc stick and a small wireless router. The total current draw is about 2.5 amps, which should not be a problem for a device that advertises 3x2.4 amp ports. Maybe I was asking too much from it. Maybe it was defective from the start. But buyer beware, don't ask too much of this unit or it may burn itself out... if not right away, then eventually.
