Even if it's locked.** A: You could use a wide pad lock to cover the bottom screws. A commando lock would probably work or perhaps a disc lock which is typically ideal anyways as one of the most common ways thieves break-in is to cut the shackle with a pair of bolt cutters. Although this varies dramatically by region so it is best to know your area. And ofc you could also use security screws or as another person already pointed out bolts. **Q: Is this latch available with the swing latch on the right?** A: NO,Only left. **Q: What is the diameter of the hole for a padlock?** A: Larger than a pencil and smaller than an elephant tusk. A small padlock collective as the latch itself is almost enough to secure any gate. **Q: how far apart can the sides be?** A: Not far, maybe 1/4 of an inch. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Top notch product *by W***R on 9 March 2024* What you see in the picture is what you get in reality.
