Plywood I get some burning, but that's just user error mostly I'm sure. I use these on a CNC Router, as it was the largest diameter I could find, that has a 1/4" shank. I did 1mm depth-of-cut at 1000mm/min with 20mm stepover. The tool hauled through it with no problems. Did a 0.5mm cleanup pass and as seen in the picture posted with my review, the 8" diameter circle looks so clean you can hardly see any marks left from the tool. No sanding or work done to the surface after using it.
