So when we got geese (giant dewlap Toulouse) a goose door was a no-brainer. This door was easy to install and it works exactly as intended. We already had experience with this kind of device. Our giant geese waddle in and out with no problem - they do have to duck somewhat. They are taller than the door. But their big booties make it through just fine. The only disappointment was that you can’t manually raise or lower the door without putting something darkening over the unit - no convenient button. We are used to having that functionality on our chicken doors. But it’s a small issue we work around.
