You'd want them to wrap around your wrists at least twice when stretched. At least, that's the way I find them most supportive and comfortable. **Q: Can you wear training gloves with this?** A: If you have the 18" or 24", they'll wrap around your wrist twice and be pretty thick. You'll probably have a hard time getting the bottom of the gloves to fit over the wraps. **Q: Is the elastic part that goes around the thumb tight, that can cut blood circulation?** A: Not at all, I have been using the straps for a couple of months, they give you great support.
