Not sure why that is, but I'm very disappointed. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ operates well, no leaks, paint doesn't last (may have been a defect), given refund *by A***N on 17 November 2021* Instructions don't mention that plumbers putty is required in both the drain, as well as the part that attaches to the drain tubing. The latter shouldn't happen on faucets. It works great, no leaks, turns easily, feels like nice quality in this respect. However, this unit is painted, not powder coated or other, and can not withstand wiping with just water. FYI, the instructions say you can not use any cleaning agents, only water to clean it. [UPDATE] the OEM contacted me and offered a replacement or refund promptly hearing my feedback. Great customer service.
