My e brake cable was froze up, I couldn't get it unstuck, I really didn't need it anyways. So I removed the cable entirely. I read some reviews about the o ring missing, I figured it wouldn't be a big deal I have a bunch of o rings. The price was right, mine had the o ring, and it matched up perfectly. The installation was pretty straight forward. It looks nice, and it'll help stop dirt and such from getting inside the caliper.
