They're durable, light, easy to clean and most importantly don't affect image quality. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Spend the extra money and get the best *by M***N on May 11, 2024* Bought this as the standard protective filter for my Canon RF 100mm Macro. Typical B+W quality - threading is smooth, very thin and light, and optical quality is superb. Performs well for most situations as a basic protective filter. If you’re serious about photography and have a great camera and lenses, don’t skimp on the filters like a lot of folks do. You don’t put Walmart rims and tires on a Ferrari, so don’t put cheap filters on your expensive camera. One issue I have - I wish B+W would still give you hard cases for their filters like they used to vs. the soft cases they provide now.
