So darned easy to clean, and they cook well, much like cast iron without all the cast iron care. They are enamel coated with an aluminum core and the heat is well-distributed. They are non-stick without the toxicity of other non-stick coatings. These should not go in the dishwasher but they practically just wipe clean so there really isn't any need to put them in a dishwasher. I started out with a couple of Caraway frying pans to test them over a bit of time and loved them so much I gathered up a whole set of Caraway pots and pans. Here it is many months later and I still love them. Despite daily use they look and cook like new. I expect they will last forever.
