The Switch will not fit in the original Nintendo switch dock since the case is pretty thick, but it isn't necessarily a bad thing for me since I have a custom dock. If you want to use the Nintendo dock, you will have to remove the case, you don't have to remove the joycons though. That being said, since the case is rather thick, it should provide enough protection from drops. The case was easy to put on the console and it isn't that hard to remove from the console itself if I wanted to use the original Nintendo dock.I need to add that you cannot use the joycon grip without removing the cases from the joycons, which is also inconvenient. I suggest that people look for a less thicker case instead if you want to use the charging dock and the grip without problems.I gave it 4 stars because it is rather inconvenient having to remove the case from the console to use the original dock. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Honestly I truly appreciated how easy this product came out of the packaging and how ... *by A***A on Reviewed in the United States on July 24, 2017* Honestly I truly appreciated how easy this product came out of the packaging and how easy it was to install.....even though no directions on the box or inside of it either. Main body of my switch clicked right on no problems perfect def impressed. Put the left joycon cover on (easy to tell which is which by position of the buttons and size of the - or + pretty self explanatory. only problem was that the right side joycon + side would not quite fit and seemed to be stretched out towards the top no matter how many times I tried to assemble the unit. If it was a minor thing no biggie but it made it hard to press the top right joycon button the way it was flexed out and not fitting the right joycon. Maybe this is a minor thing not a total bummer just the way it was made just the right joycon at the top was flexed out like 1/8 inch or so no matter how much I wanted to flex it in or try to fix it but over all this was an amazing fit that was super easy to install and remover in case I wanted to install into the cradle just wish the main cover on right joycon would fit properly otherwise this was a defininte super good product just hope the replace the right side or I will remove it so I can push the button easier since the cover flexes outwards making it an effort to press. All in all a great product with excellent fit and finish and if the right joycon worked better it would be beyond my expectations on the build and ease of installation.....no brainer flex and clip on for the main body. Just fix this prob and you have a 5/5 until then I have to remove my right joycon cover to be able to use the button easily because the case is flexed out 1/8 inch at the top and no way to bring it in without modding or heating it. All in all great product and I would recommend it whole heartedly I love it just will adjust review later based on how its handled since there are no instructions in the box or contact number. I'm not sure why this is since it could probably be remedied with a small notch cut-out.
