These work wonderfully and fit snuggly against the wall and socket making it so I can plug in my three-prong devices just fine! I did remove the wall outlet plates as it gave me better "grip" on the center screw this uses to attach to the outlet. I saw some other reviews complaining about loose plugs, but I didn't notice that on my unit. It also seems that the outlet boxes in the room I'm in do provide some form of ground in my situation, but your milage may vary.This isn't magically going to add ground to outlets that don't have ground - in niche cases like mine where the actual outlet box is grounded due to how close it was to a recent electrical upgrade in the nearby bathroom you'll have success, but in others, it is just an adapter without ground. If you need a properly grounded outlet, an electrician is your only safe bet - and I know it's pricey, but it's the truth. Don't risk a house fire due to incompetence.Some other reviews on here have mentioned that their hot and neutral sides are swapped, and that is more than likely from them having the plug on the wall upside down (If that's the case for you, flip the plug upside down and test again). In my case, I did not notice that with an outlet tester in the expected orientation of the outlet.The only big downside is that the blue light on the bottom of the outlet is perpetually on. It also doesn't accurately tell you if you have a grounded connection or not - it turns on no matter what when power is applied (I did testing myself to see if that was the case).All in all, it's a good outlet adapter. It's a bit pricy for what you get, but it works fine. The spacing of the plugs on the angled sides to help with organizing bulkier cables, but do keep in mind that heavy power bricks will have problems on most wall outlets - and is not the fault of this product at all. The internal wall plugs in our home are still two prong but with this device, I'm able to use the grounding, screw through the grounding plate inside the device into the frame of the power socket for a ground, and all six components are now plugged in securely, and this will not fall out of the wall, where I had a third prong cut off adapter, which was a mess that would fall out of the wall, so it won't fall out and it does the job.
