Review: This is good DDR5 memory - I bought this for a HP OMEN 16 laptop to upgrade the 16Gb DDR5 in it. once open, fitted perfectly and speed is great. Only confusing thing is that initial boot is slower but I suspect it's HP doing a memory test on boot and I cant figure out how to switch it off. when up and running though it passes all tests I've flung on it. Be aware that these are not backward compatible so you cannot use them in a DDR4 sodimm laptop. It was also faster to get from desertcart than but direct from crucial! 24 hours vs 7 days!
Review: Works perfectly fine - Installed in my Asus A17 gaming laptop, to replace existing 8x2 into 16x2. For gaming 16 is enough, but for work it was lacking. Yes, more ram means no more weird slowing downs!!! Had no problem taking thermo strips from original RAM and gluing onto these ones. Haven't had a single crash or blue screen in 3 months, so i guess works fine.
