Because he has such a deep breast bone it is hard to find a harness to fit. At first, I thought the material was too thin but it seems to be quite durable. The reflective material makes him very visible both in the dark and shade. I plan to purchase one for my mini Doxie, too.It is now 05/2020 and this harness is still in great condition. It is not showing any signs of wear and tear and wish I could find another one. I'm very happy with this harness. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for gentle walkers *by L***A on June 30, 2018* Super bright orange...fits my 55lb. Cattle dog hound mix perfect & she has a very deep chest...Would only suggest for GENTLE walkers like her....we have 2 pit bulls as well & this harness would not last past 1 walk with them....so if you have a dog who is strong & pulls I dont think this would be a good choice. Just needed the harness but came with leash as a bonus. Great price too. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Dog really likes soft material and fit; runs small so buy larger than you think *by J***. on May 9, 2017* I got this for a new puppy in the bright yellow color. The color is just like pictured--an electric yellow. We don't have sidewalks in our neighborhood, so it was important that we buy something that could be noticed at night. I've only seen it close up so I'm not sure how reflective the harness is from a passing car. But the puppy is really enjoying wearing it. She does nip at the collar area when she sits because it sticks out sometimes in that position. It's fine when she standing or running on the leash. I really like that the material is mesh since it covers a large area of the chest and is comfortable when she moves. My harness also came with a matching reflective leash, which was a pleasant surprise. I don't really use that one since I bought a separate leash with padded grips but it's nice to have an extra in case she bites through our current one or to pack extras for trips. Overall I'm really satisfied with this harness in terms of quality and looks. It's about what you could get at target or the pet store but at a slightly better price and with the comforts of home delivery. The only reason I took off a star was for the sizing issue. I think the measurements are pretty off. Every dog is shaped differently, but I would say that all the sizes are much smaller than what is listed, so I would go up one or even two sizes. My dog is a 6 month samoyed who is on the smaller side for her age/breed. She has a ton of fur and is very poofy, so while she is only 25 lbs her coat makes her look bigger. I got her the XL based on other people's comment and it is slightly big on her even with all of the tab as tight as possible.
