It's a level 4 strong, but it doesn't dull your hair. The other one they make that is Level 5 strong makes your hair too stiff and dull. This one Level 4 puts some shine in your hair. Perfect. They used to make a level 5 in a silver can that was perfect. But this Level 4 is as close as you will get to perfect now.
