Just put our bed on to the bathroom scales and it weighs in at 8.3 kilos! Folded dimensions are 93 x 70 x 11 cm so it may be a bit awkward to manoeuvre. The base is woven webbing, not metal so that is where the weight-saving comes from. The instructions say to put the bed on it's side or upside down to open the legs but I have found that when turning up the right way, it tends to fold again in the middle. It is easier if you open it the right way up with the legs folded and then open one leg frame at a time.Hope this helps, Andy **Q: Is there a weight limit for these beds?** A: I dont know but I am an adult and sleep on it every night. I saw these folding beds and bought two for our next trip next month. They are really easy to put up and come with a mattress. They are also very comfortable. They are not light but look well built.
