I was pleasantly surprised how sturdy the dies are (1 for flowers and 1 for the leaves) This die is a bit heavier in weight than other thin dies I have used. The weight difference is probably due to the embossing of the veins in the petals, which is the reason I bought it in the first place. It cuts well with 2 passes on 65 lb card stock. It usually takes 2 passes with all my dies for my particular machine, which may not happen on other machines. Also, I did not cut the dies into individual piece, which could be the issue. Because this is not a simple frame/outline die, you do have to poke out the cut paper flower using a pokey tool or pin from the back, which is a bit time consuming but, the final results were worth it.Overall, this is a great die set for the price.
