Jute absorbs less moisture compared to cotton and no hazardous chemicals are used in the growing or manufacturing process. This has an important benefit for everybody’s health; the workers, the environment, and of course, yours. Not Dying for Dye - We have used Azo free vegetable dyes. Azo dyes are a the name given to a group of very effective synthetic dyestuff commonly found colouring foods, cosmetics, carpets, clothes, leather and textiles. The compounds found in these synthetic dyes break down to form carcinogens. While it is only certain azo dyes that can be problematic, we have chosen to completely avoid them all together.
