Apparently, a friend of mine filmed my wedding 6 years ago. They had gotten busy and had forgotten to surprise me with the footage, and in my mailbox was a DVD of my wedding. Only problem was, none of my computers had a DVD player, and I didn't own one.This little external drive literally saved the day. It was super easy to hook up, literally powered by the USB port that it uses to transfer the data. The data read from the ancient DVD perfectly, and helped me create an incredible surprise for my wife!I read some reviews that this wasn't compatible with Mac, which was not my issue at all.
