They are the perfect middle ground because they are strong enough for big messes but cheap enough that I don't feel bad using them.The best thing about them is how they are put together. They have little "pockets" in the paper that soak up water really fast. Some cheap towels just push the water around the table, but these actually grab it and hold onto it. I have used them for spilled juice and even big puddles of water, and they don't drip all over the floor when I carry them to the trash can.I also really like the "Pick-A-Size" sheets. The lines between the towels are cut perfectly, so they rip off clean every time. I hate it when you try to grab one towel and the whole roll falls apart or rips in the middle. With these, I can take a small piece for a tiny drop of coffee or a big piece for a dinner spill.
