Not Oz in volume. **Q: Can this be used on firearms? Is it safe inside barrels? Would it need to be removed before firing if applied lightly?** A: The product is not like "grey paint" as one answer states, not unless the LPS people have drastically changed the formula. It's a translucent amber wax/grease coating. Think of it as more like a modern version of Cosmoline. A little lighter and not as messy. and sprays on so it's easier to use. I would not use this as a general gun lube as it would thicken up badly in cold weather and is too thick even in warm weather to function as a lube. This is a product for long-term storage, and you would want to remove most or all of it when you get ready to use them. I had some steel and cast-iron parts go through a quick flood, and they were untouched by it.
